WhatsApp to stop working on Apple, Samsung devices and more
It seems like people are becoming more attached to their smartphones these days. According to Statista, the majority of Americans hold onto their phones for a whopping two years and seven months before considering an upgrade. Some even go as far as using their phones until they completely give up on them. However, if you happen to be one of those individuals who rely heavily on WhatsApp and own an older phone, it might be time to start thinking about getting a newer device.
A recent report from CanalTech has revealed that WhatsApp will no longer be updating or functioning on more than 35 smartphones from various popular brands like Apple, Huawei, Lenovo, LG, Motorola, and Samsung. This means that if you’re using one of these outdated models, you won’t be able to enjoy the latest features and improvements that WhatsApp has to offer. So, if you want to stay connected with your friends and family through this popular messaging app, it might be wise to consider upgrading to a more compatible device.
