India vs Zimbabwe, 5th T20I Stats: Mukesh Kumar equals record
Mukesh led the way with a haul of 4/22 as India bowled Zimbabwe out for 125 after setting them 168 to win, completing a 4-1 series victory as a result.
It was business as usual in the remainder of the five-match T20I series between India and Zimbabwe after the latter pulling off a stunning 13-run win in the series opener last week.
Team India were heavily favoured to win the series despite fielding a second-string team led by Shubman Gill, given the vast gulf between the two teams on the ICC rankings across formats.
They were, however, in for a reality check in the tour opener on Saturday, 6 July, as they failed to chase down a target of 116, getting bundled out for a paltry 102.
The Men in Blue however, would bounce back the very next day with a 100-run thrashing of the Sikandar Raza-led hosts, posting 234/2 before bowling the Chevrons out for a paltry 134.
India would go 2-1 up three days later on Wednesday with a 23-run victory before clinching the series with a game to spare with a 10-wicket thrashing of the Zimbabweans on Saturday.
