Skoda Kodiaq 2025 Hits India with Luxury

Kuala Lumpur, June 13, 2025 – Skoda India has launched the 2025 Skoda Kodiaq, a premium seven-seater SUV packed with style and safety, on April 17, 2025. Priced at Rs 46.89 lakh for the Sportline variant and Rs 48.69 lakh for the Laurin & Klement (L&K) trim (ex-showroom), the Kodiaq is now open for bookings, with deliveries starting May 2.

The new Kodiaq sports a sleek look with LED DRLs, C-shaped tail lights, and a striking butterfly grille. Built on the MQB37 platform, it’s 59mm longer, offering 281 liters of boot space (up to 1,976 liters with seats folded). The Sportline has a sporty black grille and all-black interior, while the L&K shines with chrome details and Cognac leather seats.

Inside, it features a 13-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, and ambient lighting. Comfort perks include heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a 725W 13-speaker Canton audio system. Safety includes nine airbags, a 360-degree camera, ABS, EBD, ESC, and parking assist.

The Kodiaq runs on a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine with 204hp and 320Nm, paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic and all-wheel drive, delivering 14.86 kmpl (ARAI-certified). Though it lacks ADAS and Dynamic Chassis Control, it rivals the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, and MG Gloster.

“Skoda’s Kodiaq redefines luxury for families,” said Petr Janeba, Skoda Auto India’s Brand Director. With a five-year/1.25 lakh-km warranty and 10-year roadside assistance, it’s a top pick for SUV buyers.
